JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 16-01-2024 The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following reliefs:- "1(i). For issuance of a writ in the nature of certiorari for quashing the order as contained in letter No. 1 (2)/2018-Estt/Ptv. dated 15.03.2022 issued under the Signature of Deputy General Manager Nodal Officer (Recruitment) Kolkata whereby and whereunder the candidature of petitioner has been cancelled for the Post of AG III (Depot) under the category of OBC on the

Patna High Court CWJC No.7261 of 2022(2) dt.16-01-2024 2/2 ground that OBC certificate produced by petitioner was not valid during for Financial Year 2018-19.

(ii) For issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus commanding/direct the respondents to accept the OBC certificate of petitioner during Financial Year 2018-19 and appoint the petitioner on the Post of AG III (Depot).

At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner be granted an opportunity to participate in the recruitment process, to be undertaken in near future and in case she applies, her candidature be directed to be considered sympathetically, in accordance with law, without the authorities being impeded by the earlier deficiencies. It is directed accordingly.

The present writ petition stands disposed off as not pressed.
