This is an application seeking quashing of the F.I.R. of Muffasil (Gaya) P.S. Case No. 415/12 dated 12.12.2012 instituted for the offence under Sections 272, 273 and 290 of the Indian Penal Code.

This Court vide order dated 08.09.2020 had called for a report from the Court below about the stage of the case. The report has been received. The report indicates that the case is pending for submission of final report in the

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.55163 of 2015(3) dt.04-11-2020 2/2 matter.

The investigation of this case would have been completed by now since this is a case of the year 2012. If the same has not been completed, it depicts only a sorry state of affairs.

Since the case is awaiting submission of final report, this Court directs that the report be submitted to the Court below by the Investigating Agency within a period of three months from today.

If at all the petitioner would remain aggrieved by such report or the order of the Court on such report, he would have liberty to take recourse to legal remedies to which he is entitled.

The petition stands disposed of accordingly.
