The Petitioner apprehends his arrest in Kursakanta P.S. Case No.154 of 2016 instituted for the offence under Section(s) 406, 409, 420/34 Indian Penal Code. It is alleged that the money meant for scholarship of different primary schools of Kursakanta Block in Araria district had been deposited in the personal account of different persons with intention to misappropriate the same.

It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that the petitioner was Computer Operator in District Welfare Office and he had no concern with the aforesaid receipt/withdrawal of the money. Co-accused, Chandra Mohan Jha, has been granted

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.55286 of 2016 (3) dt.28-01-2017 2/2 anticipatory bail by a co-ordinate Bench of this Court by order dated 21.12.2016 passed in Cr. Misc. No.52129 of 2016. In the circumstances, prayer of the petitioner for anticipatory bail is allowed. In the event of surrender/arrest of the petitioner, named above, within six weeks from today in connection with Kursakanta P.S. Case No.154 of 2016, he shall be released on anticipatory bail on furnishing bail bond of `10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Araria, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) Cr. P. C.
