The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with (Kalpa O.P.) Jehanabad P.S. Case No.134 of 2017 registered under Sections 419, 420, 467, 468 and 471 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 3/4 of Bihar Conduct of Examination Act, 1981. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the allegation against the petitioner is that he had been taking services of one Sunil Kumar to write the answer-book for him in the examination. The said Sunil Kumar was apprehended when the invigilator found discrepancies in the signature on the admit card and the photo of the examinee. Learned counsel submits that said Sunil Kumar has been granted regular bail in connection with this case. Learned counsel for the State is present.
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.4285 of 2018 (3) dt.13-02-2018 Considering the nature of allegation against this petitioner, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to him. The application is dismissed.
