1. The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following reliefs:- "1.(i) For issuance of an appropriate order/orders, writ/writs, direction/directions in nature of Mandamus commanding the respondent authority to select and appoint the petitioner on the post of Constable in SC Woman Category in light of Advertisement No.01/2014 for the selection of 695 SC Women posts of constable in Bihar Police Force and other units.

(ii) For issuance of an appropriate writ or writs in the nature of Certiorari for quashing the impugned Memo No.1460, Patna dated 26.10.2015, under

Patna High Court CWJC No.19882 of 2015(2) dt.15-09-2023 2/2 which the selection of candidate has been cancelled. (iii) For issuance of an appropriate writ or order and direction in the nature of Mandamus commanding the concerned respondent authorities to consider the deposited corrected residential certificate of the petitioner which has been submitted before the board authority within the stipulated period.

(iv) For issuance of an appropriate writ or order and direction in the nature of Mandamus commanding the concerned respondent authorities to include the name of petitioner in final selection list of successful candidates for the appointment on the said post and issue the appointment letter to the petitioner in the larger interest of justice."

2. At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks not to press the present writ petition, however, seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to avail such other alternative remedies as are otherwise available under the law for redressal of her aforesaid grievances. Liberty so sought is granted.

3. The present writ petition stands disposed off as not pressed.
