NILU AGRAWAL ORAL ORDER 13-05-2019 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, learned counsel for the State and learned counsel appearing on behalf of the Bank of India (hereinafter referred to as the 'Bank').

2. Petitioner seeks a direction for release of amount of Rs. 6,24,431=00 which is the retiral dues of her husband Late Syed Shaukat Ali, who was posted at District Registration Office, Motihari, superannuated on 31.12.2018 and died on 24.02.2014.

3. It is submitted on behalf do the petitioner that the amount of Rs. 6,24,431=00 was sent by the Treasury Officer, West Champarant at Bettiah but still the respondent Bank is

4. Counsel for the Bank has furnished the statement of account of the petitioner wherein it has been shown that on 25.04.2019 a sum of Rs. 6,24,431=00 has been credited in Account No. 577010110002956 which is at Chanpatia Branch of the Bank at Motihari.

5. Considering the statement made by the counsel for the Bank and the statement of account produced, no other grievance remains to be redressed.

6. Writ application stands disposed of accordingly.

7. Statement of account produced by the counsel for the Bank is kept on record.
