The petitioner is apprehending arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 148, 149, 341, 323, 504, 296 of the Indian Penal Code and 27 of the Arms Act.
The prosecution case is that the accused persons started damaging the idol of Maa Sarswati on the eve of Sarswati Puja, on protest being made, they resorted to fire. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the accusation of firing is omnibus and general and no injury was caused to anyone.
The aforesaid facts constitute ground for consideration of prayer for regular bail. Let the learned Court
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.54241 of 2015 (2) dt.30-11-2015 2/2 below consider the prayer for regular bail of the petitioner, if the petitioner surrenders within a period of six weeks in connection with Sasaram (T) P.S. Case No.92 of 2015, pending before the learned CJM, Rohtas at Sasaram.
With the above observation, this application is, accordingly, disposed off.
