The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition Excise (Amendment) Act, 2016-18. It is a case of recovery of foreign liquor brought by a truck at the poultry farm of the petitioner.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner has falsely been implicated in this case. He further submits that he has no concern with the seized liquor and not apprehended at the spot. Petitioner has three criminal antecedents.

Learned APP appearing for the State opposed the anticipatory bail.
