The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Forbesganj P.S. Case No. 508/2016 registered under Section 498A, 323, 504, 506 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code and sections 3/4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

The accusation is of torturing of the informant/opposite party no. 2 by her husband and in-laws due to non-fulfillment of demand of dowry and also to remove from her matrimonial house. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in fact, the petitioner is the husband of the informant/opposite party no. 2 and

Having considered the facts and the circumstances of the case, let the petitioner, above named, in the event of his arrest or surrender by him within six weeks, be enlarged on bail on his furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Araria in connection with Forbesganj P.S. Case No. 508/2016, subject to the conditions laid down under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.
