The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Phulparas P.S. Case No. 229 of 2016 registered under Sections 420 and 409 of the Indian Penal Code. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that petitioner, being the Chairman of the PACCS in Sudai Ratuali Panchayat, has been working fairly in the interest of the farmers and Government. Further submission is that on perusal of Annexures to the supplementary affidavit, it appears that cash credit dues against the petitioner is nil.
