Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 341, 323, 448, 354(A)(ii), 504 and 506/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 37(ii) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.
Allegation against the petitioner and co-accused is that they attempted to outrage the modesty of the informant after consuming wine. In the past also, they had threatened the informant and others.
Considering the facts of this case and the statement of the petitioner on oath that he has got no criminal antecedent, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail after completion of investigation of the case on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.24208 of 2019(4) dt.11-06-2019 2/2 the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court below where the case is pending in connection with Danapur Police Station Case No. 169 of 2019, subject to the condition that the petitioner shall fully cooperate with the investigation/trial of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner.
