The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 379 and 414/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Allegedly, it is a case of theft of a motorcycle. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner has falsely been implicated in this case. He further submits that the name of the petitioner came into light on the basis of apprehended co-accused Md. Sufiyan and petitioner has not been apprehended at the spot and no stolen motorcycle was recovered from his possession.

Learned APP appearing for the State opposed the anticipatory bail.
