2. The petitioner is in custody in a case registered for the offence punishable under Sections 137(2) and 140(3) of the BNS.

3. As per allegation in the FIR, it is a case of missing of the son of the informant by one Anurag Gupta.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has falsely been implicated in this case due to local village politics. He next submits that petitioner is not named in the FIR and his name transpired in the present case due to fact that the SIM Cards issued in the name of petitioner, was used to

No.32749 of 2026(3) dt.23-07-2026 2/2 send some Whatsapp messages to Silipi Gupta(wife of Anurag Gupta) and others, due to this fact, the petitioner has been implicated in the present case. Petitioner has got clean antecedent as stated in para-3 of the petition and he is in custody since 05.01.2026.

5. Learned APP for the State opposes the prayer for bail of the petitioner.

In the light of the aforesaid submissions as made by learned counsel for the petitioner, it is clear from the petition that the petitioner is implicated in this case only on the basis of his confessional and that does not shows the involvement of the petitioner in the alleged occurrence, let the above named petitioner be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned CJM, Gopalganj in connection with Gopalganj Town P.S.
