The petitioner seeks pre-arrest bail in connection with Pipra Kothi P.S. Case No.68 of 2017 registered under Sections 7 of the Essential Commodities Act.

Regard being had to the submissions that the rice and wheat are not controlled items and no recovery was made from the possession of the petitioner, in the event of arrest or surrender in the court below within six weeks from today, he is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Sub Divisional Judicial Magistrate,
