Petitioner seeks bail in Runnisaidpur P.S. Case No.01 of 2020 registered under Sections 457 and 380 of the IPC. The informant after having received the information of theft in his house from his neighbour Shailendra Kumar Singh came and found that many ornaments and articles worth Rs.4,60,000/- were stolen. During course of search, the informant came to know that Shashi Shankar and his friends committed theft in his house. The informant also came to know that some ornaments were sold in the shop of Suresh Sah. The informant went there and enquired about the same from Suresh Sah, who after taking Rs.25,000/- returned some ornaments. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the

The name of the petitioner surfaced in the case in the confessional statement of Shashi Shankar. Shashi Shankar has already been granted bail on the ground of being minor. No theft article has been recovered from possession of the petitioner and the petitioner is in jail since 11.02.2020. The petitioner has already remained in jail for more than seven months and he has got no criminal antecedent as stated in para 3 of the bail petition. Having considered the facts aforesaid, the petitioner named above is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(rupees ten thousand) with two sureties of like amount each to the satisfaction of learned C.J.M., Sitamarhi in connection with Runnisaidpur P.S.
