This application is filed for grant of regular bail in connection with Bibhutipur P.S. Case No. 106 of 2023 registered under section 272, 273, 420, 467, 468, 471, 120(B) of the Indian Penal Code and 30(a)(b), 32, 41, 62 of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2022.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that there is recovery of 1707.090 litre foreign liquor and also the petitioner is in custody since 22.03.2023.

Learned A.P.P. has vehemently opposed the prayer for

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.27153 of 2023(2) dt.15-05-2023 2/2 bail.

Considering the period of custody, this application for regular bail is allowed.

Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Special Excise Judge-I, Samastipur, District-Samastipur in connection with Bibhutipur P.S.
