The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following reliefs:- "i) A certiorari setting aside the office order issued from the level of Respondent Deputy Superintendent, Sub-Divisional Hospital, Sheikhpura contained in letter No.105B dated 24.06.1993 whereby and where-under the respondents concerned has in a very arbitrary and

Patna High Court CWJC No.18596 of 2015(2) dt.05-10-2023 2/2 illegal manner terminated the service of the petitioner as clerk in the concerned Hospital in compliance of some orders of superior departmental authorities holding him as illegal appointee of Dr. A.A. Malik after 01.01.1080. ii) A Mandamus commanding and directing the respondents concerned to allow the petitioner to join his post and discharge his duties regularly and sincerely alongwith all its consequential monetary benefits."

At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks not to press the present writ petition, however seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to apply in fresh selection process and further submits that his case may be directed to be considered on its own merits. Liberty so sought is granted. 3.

The writ petition stands disposed off.
