2. Despite repeated calls, none appears on behalf of the appellant, whereas Ms. Shashi Bala Verma, learned, Additional Public Prosecutor for the State is present.

3. Perusal of record shows that a living status report of accused appellant was called for by Assistant Registrar, Criminal Appeal Section of this Court. In response thereto, Superintendent of Police, Gopalganj, submitted a report dated 04.05.2026 based on the information furnished by S.H.O., Town

Patna High Court CR. APP (DB) No.487 of 2010(3) dt.24-07-2026 2/2 Police Station, Gopalganj apprising this Court that the sole appellant namely, Paras Dubey has died on 14.02.2015 during pendency of this Criminal Appeal. The Death Certificate dated 02.09.2019 issued by the Registrar (Birth & Death), Nagar Parisad, Gopalganj is also enclosed along with the said report.

4. In view of the above, the instant Criminal Appeal filed by appellant, namely, Paras Dubey stands abated.
