Let the defect(s), if any, be removed within a period of four weeks from today.

The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Excise P.S. (Aurangabad) Case No. 133 of 2023 registered for the offence under Sections 30(a) of Bihar Prohibition and Excise Amendment Act.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody since 21.02.2023 and there is recovery of total 170 liters.

Learned A.P.P. has vehemently opposed the prayer for bail.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.27291 of 2023(2) dt.15-05-2023 2/2 Considering the period of custody and the quantity of recovery of liquor, this application for regular bail is allowed. Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail after completion of six months in custody on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Special Judge, Excise-II, Aurangabad in connection with Excise P.S. (Aurangabad) Case No. 133 of 2023.
