JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 23-06-2023 The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief:- "(i) For issuance of an appropriate writ directing and commanding the respondents to cancel with immediate effect all the appointments made on class III or class IV posts on contract basis in the Nagar Parishad, Bettiah without following the procedure as well as without considering the case of the petitioner for such appointment on contract basis.

(ii) For issuance of an appropriate writ or

Patna High Court CWJC No.23315 of 2013(2) dt.23-06-2023 2/2 direction directing and commanding the respondents to take action against the persons making such appointments in Nagar Parishad, Bettiah on contract basis without following the procedure and to realize the amount from them paid towards the salary etc, to such persons appointed on contract basis.

(iii) For issuance of an appropriate writ directing and commanding the respondents to consider the case of the petitioner and to appoint the petitioner on the post of Asstt./Tax collector on contract basis after following the procedure with all consequential benefits."

Considering the nature of prayer, made in the present case, I deem it fit and proper to dispose off the present writ petition with liberty to the petitioner to agitate his subsisting grievances, if any, before the respondent-authorities. The present writ petition stands disposed off. (Mohit Kumar Shah, J) sonal/- U
