The petitioner has preferred this application for grant of regular bail in a case registered under section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

As per the prosecution case, 131 litres of liquor was recovered from the house of the petitioner.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that no incriminating article has been recovered from the petitioner's possession or his house. He was not arrested at the spot. He has been falsely implicated in the case because of his antecedents. He is in custody since 20.3.2021 and investigation in the case has concluded.

No.36558 of 2021(3) dt.21-03-2022 2/2 Having heard learned counsel for the parties and taking into consideration the facts of the case together with the petitioner having remained in custody for 1 year, the Court directs the petitioner to be enlarged on bail in connection with Shri Krishnapuri P.S. Case no. 464 of 2019 on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Special Judge, Excise, Patna.
