This application for grant of anticipatory bail arises out of Barh P.S. Case No. 211 of 2016, disclosing offences under Sections 420,294(A)/120B/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 11 of the Bihar Bengal Public Gambling Act. From the First Information Report, it appears that the petitioners are said to be kingpin who runs Guessing Centers at various places and this information is said to haves been disclosed to the police by persons, who were playing at Guessing Center, in course of interrogation.
Considering the nature of offence, I am no inclined to grant the privilege of anticipatory bail to the petitioners. This application is rejected.
The petitioners are directed to surrender before the Court below within six weeks from today and seek regular bail, if so advised. If they do so, their application for regular bail shall be considered on its own merit without being prejudiced by rejection of present application for grant of anticipatory bail by this Court.
