The petitioners apprehend their arrest in Complaint Case No. 1096 of 2017, Trial No. 3518 of 2017 registered under Sections 498(A), 406 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

The learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners are father-in-law and mother-in-law of the complainant. The petitioners never demanded any dowry nor tortured the complainant. The complainant had some altercation with her husband that is why the complainant filed the case making allegation against her husband and the petitioners.

No.5102 of 2018 (2) dt.01-02-2018 2/2 Considering the facts aforesaid and the nature of allegation made against the petitioners, the petitioners, above named, in the event of their arrest or surrender before the learned court below within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned S.D.J.M., Gopalganj, in connection with Complaint Case No. 1096 of 2017, Trial No. 3518 of 2017, subject to conditions as laid down under Section 438 (2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
