Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner informs this Court that the grievance of the petitioner, as prayed for in the present writ petition, has been redressed, however, he is aggrieved for non-payment of due interest on account of delay in making payment of retiral dues from the date he became entitled for receiving the retiral benefits under different heads, in accordance with law.

3. Learned counsel further submits that the petitioner

Patna High Court CWJC No.6069 of 2023(5) dt.26-09-2023 2/2 seeks to file a detail representation before the concerned respondent to make payment of the interest, in accordance with law.

Considering the aforesaid grievance of the petitioner, the concerned respondent is directed to dispose of the representation of the petitioner and ensure to make payment of interest from the date the petitioner is entitled, in accordance with law laid down by the Hon'ble Apex Court in the case of State of Kerala V. M.Padmanabhan Nair reported in (1985) 1 SCC 429 and D.D.Tewari V. Uttar Haryana Bijli reported in (2014) 8 SCC 894.
