The petitioner has renewed his prayer for bail in connection with a case registered under section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the earlier prayer for bail was rejected vide order dated 2.2.2002 passed in Cr. Misc. no.44992 of 2021 giving liberty to the petitioner to renew his prayer for bail on completing one year in custody. The petitioner has remained in custody for more than one year since 27.4.2021.

Heard learned A.P.P. for the State.

Having heard learned counsel for the parties and taking into consideration the liberty granted to the petitioner by the aforesaid order of rejection dated 2.2.2022 together with the

Case no.92 of 2021 on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/ (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Additional District and Sessions Judge 2nd-cum-Special Judge, Excise, Sheohar.
