Petitioner seeks bail in Case No.57 C2/19 instituted for the offence under Section(s) 30(A) of Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

It is alleged that 40 litres Mahua liquor and 200 kg. Jawa Mahua has been recovered from possession of this petitioner. It is further alleged that 400 Kg. Jawa Mahua was recovered, which was kept hidden in bush in front of house of the petitioner.

From the written report, it appears that petitioner was arrested and another accused managed to run away. Counsel for the petitioner submits that house is joint

Petitioner is in custody since 17.03.2019 having clean antecedents.

In the facts and circumstances of the case, prayer of the petitioner for grant of bail is allowed. Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the ADJ II, Jamui, in connection with Case No.57 C2/19, subject to the condition that both the bailors shall be close relative of the petitioner.
