The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 341, 324, 307 and 384/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

It is a case of demand of ransom money from the informant and on denial, the petitioner assaulted the son of the informant by means of knife and sustained injury. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner has falsely been implicated in this case. Petitioner has got clean antecedent.

Learned APP appearing for the State has opposed the prayer for anticipatory bail.

From perusal of the case diary as well as injury report,

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.36530 of 2021(3) dt.07-04-2022 2/2 it appears that the prosecution witnesses have supported the case of the prosecution and the injured sustained incised wound on the back side of the body of the injured, namely, Ankit Agrawal and thereafter injured fell down on the earth, as such, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is rejected.

However, the petitioner is directed to surrender before the court below and pray for regular bail and the court below may consider the prayer for regular bail of this petitioner without being prejudiced by this order.
