This is a petition for grant of anticipatory bail for offence under Section 7 of the Essential Commodities Act. Three quintals rice and two quintals wheat were recovered from a tempo in a village. The person apprehended disclosed that they had purchased the articles from this petitioner, who is a Public Distribution System dealer.

Submission is that due to enmity with those people, they made false statement before the police. The petitioner has not got criminal antecedent.

Considering the aforesaid fact, the petitioner, above named, in the event of his arrest or surrender, within four weeks from the date of receipt of this order, be released on anticipatory bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (rupees ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each in connection with Daraunda P.S. Case No. 127 of 2016 to the satisfaction of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Siwan, or successor Court, subject to the condition laid down under Section 438(2) of the Criminal Procedure Code.
