JUSTICE VIKASH JAIN ORAL ORDER 25-08-2021 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and counsel for the State through video conference. Learned counsel for the petitioner has filed an undertaking that all the defects pointed out by the stamp reporter shall be removed, and compliance with the conditions of the notices of this Court with regard to acceptance of e-filing shall be made, without delay immediately upon resumption of normal physical functioning of the Court, and in any event within one month thereof.

2. The present application has been filed for modification of the order dated 06.08.2019 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 49102 of 2019.

3. It is submitted on behalf of the petitioner that the

No.38183 of 2021(2) dt.25-08-2021 2/2 petitioner is an old lady suffering from various ailments and she was advised by the doctor for complete bed rest due to which she could not furnish her bail bond in time. He further submits that the Covid-19 pandemic and resultant lock-down has also aggravated the problem of the petitioner.

4. Learned APP appears and has been heard.

5. For the reasons stated in the modification petition, the time for surrender of the petitioner and furnishing bail bonds granted in terms of the order dated 06.08.2019 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 49102 of 2019 is extended by four weeks from today.

6. Modification petition stands allowed.

7. Office shall follow-up to ensure that all defects are removed and compliance with the notices of this Court are made by the petitioner within the stipulated time provided in para 1 hereinabove, failing which the matter shall be brought to the notice of this Court.
