The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Harsidhi P.S. Case No. 57 of 2019 for the offence punishable under Sections 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition & Excise Act, 2016.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner, who is of clean antecedent, is innocent and has not committed any offence. In fact, nothing has been recovered from the conscious possession of the petitioner and the name of this petitioner has transpired on the confessional statement of the co-accused. Hence, the petitioner may be granted the privilege of anticipatory bail.
