JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 21-11-2025 In compliance of the order of this Court dated 05.12.2022 passed in CWJC No. 5963 of 2022, it is pointed out by the learned counsel for the parties, by referring to the show cause filed in the present case that two proceedings have been initiated in this case, i.e. one by the Patna Municipal Corporation, Patna vide Vigilance Cases No. 78B/2025, 79B/2025, 80B/2025, 81B/2025, 82B/2025 and 83B/2025 and the other by the Circle

Patna High Court MJC No.1120 of 2023(6) dt.21-11-2025 3/3 Officer, Patna City, Patna, who has initiated encroachment proceedings and issued notice to the alleged encroachers on 15.10.2025, under Section 3 of the Bihar Public Land Encroachment Act, 1956.

In view of the aforesaid, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks a direction for conclusion of the aforesaid proceedings within a stipulated time frame.

Accordingly, the authorities of the Patna Municipal Corporation, Patna as also the Circle Officer, Patna City, Patna are directed to conclude the aforesaid proceedings within a period of 12 weeks from today.
