====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE ANJANI KUMAR SHARAN ORAL ORDER 12-10-2020 Heard the parties through the virtual court proceeding. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Khodawandpur P.S. Case No. 28 of 2020 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 363, 304(B), 34, 120(B) of the Indian Penal Code.

Accusation against the petitioner of torture for nonfulfillment of demand of dowry and due to non-fulfillment of the same, the daughter of the informant has been killed and disposed of her dead body.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has falsely been implicated in the present case and the petitioner is the mother-in-law of the deceased. Learned counsel for the petitioner further submits that the husband of the victim

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.23666 of 2020(3) dt.12-10-2020 2/2 namely Bikrant Kumar Paswan @ Bikrant Kumar has already been surrendered in the court below on 12.02.2020 and since then he is in judicial custody. He further submits by the impugned order, the doctor has also opined that deceased died due to asphyxia as a result of hanging.

Learned A.P.P. for the State opposed the bail petition. In the facts and circumstances of the case, let the above named petitioner be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 25,000/- (twenty five thousand) only with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Begusarai in connection with Khodawandpur P.S. Case No. 28 of 2020.
