Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 364A/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Petitioner is in custody since 24.09.2017. Allegation is that he was involved in the occurrence of abduction of the husband of the informant. The victim had also supported the aforesaid allegation.

Earlier prayer for bail was refused on 08.05.2018 with direction to the trial Judge to expedite the trial. This impugned order reveals that the case is at the stage of hearing on charge.

Considering the nature of allegation and period already undergone, let the petitioner, above named, be released

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.24012 of 2019(2) dt.08-05-2019 2/2 on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court below where the case is pending in connection with Sessions Trial No. 816 of 2018 arising out of Chhauradano Police Station Case No. 222 of 2017, subject to the condition that the petitioner shall fully cooperate with the trial of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner.
