Let the defect(s), if any, be removed within a period of four weeks from today.
The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Marhaura P.S. Case No. 492 of 2022 registered for the offence under Sections 467, 468, 471, 420, 411, 414/34 of the Indian Penal Code.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody since 29.09.2022 and the petitioner is innocent and he has not committed any offence. Learned A.P.P. has vehemently opposed the prayer for bail and he has submitted that the petitioner has 17 criminal antecedents.
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.28253 of 2023(2) dt.24-05-2023 2/3 Considering the fact that the petitioner has 17 criminal antecedents apart from this case, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
Accordingly, this application stands rejected. The Court below is directed to expedite the trial of the petitioner in the following cases:-
