26-08-2016 Heard Sri Subodh Prasad, learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri Damodar Prasad Tiwary, learned Addl. Public Prosecutor.
The petitioner, who is husband of opposite party no. 2, has approached this Court against an order dated 26-09-2015, whereby, maintenance of Rs. 6,000/- (six thousand) per month has been directed to be paid to the opposite party no. 2 by the petitioner in Misc. (Maintenance) Case No. 126 of 2010. Learned counsel for the petitioner tried to persuade the Court that if notice is issued, there is every possibility of settlement.
However, on going through the materials on record, the Court is of the opinion that it is a fit case for directing for
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.2395 of 2016 (2) dt.26-08-2016 2/2 enhancement of the maintenance amount, however; without interfering with the order, this Court is dismissing the present petition.
The petition stands dismissed.
