The petitioner, being the husband of the informant is apprehending arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 498A and 506/34 of the IPC. The basic accusation is of torturing the imformant for nonfulfillment of the further dowry demand. It appears that on the joint prayer of the parties, the matter was referred to the Mediation and Conciliation Centre of the Patna High Court Legal Services Committee, vide order dated 06.08.2019. The report of the Mediator, dated 04.11.2019, kept at flag-'A' reflects that the issue has been resolved between the
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.26128 of 2019(5) dt.16-11-2019 2/2 parties to the effect that both are ready to reside together. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the informant is residing with the petitioner and the contention of the petitioner is not being controverted by the learned counsel for the informant.
Considering the present stand of the parties and the report of the Mediator, let the above named petitioner be released on anticipatory bail in the event of arrest/surrender before the learned Court below within a period of twelve weeks from today, on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of like amount each to the satisfaction of learned ACJM-VIII, Saran at Chapra in connection with Marhowrah P.S. Case No. 594 of 2018, subject to the condition as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Cr. P.C.
