The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief(s):- "1.(i) A writ in the nature of Certiorari or any other appropriate writ/order or direction for quashing part of Clause 5 (ii) of Advertisement No. 8/2015 to 17/2015 published on 30.10.2015 by the Bihar Public Service Commission for appointment of Senior Scientific Officers in Forensic Science

Patna High Court CWJC No.19833 of 2015(2) dt.06-10-2023 2/3 Laboratory, Bihar, Patna under Home (Police) Department, whereby and whereunder maximum 20 marks has been allotted for the candidates working in Patna, Bhagalpur and Muzaffarpur Forensic Science Laboratories.

(ii) A writ in the nature of Certiorari or any other appropriate writ/order or direction for quashing the part of Advertisement No. 8/2015 to 17/2015 advertised by the Bihar Public Service Commission on 30.10.2015 for appointment of Senior Scientific Officers in Forensic Science Laboratories in which under experience column, it is stated that for general M.Sc. Degree Holder candidates three years' experience is mandatory but no experience has been fixed for Forensic Science M.Sc. Degree Holder candidates.

(iii) A writ in the nature of Mandamus for any other appropriate writ/ order or direction for directing the Respondent specifically Bihar Public Service Commission to not give 20 marks weightage to the candidates who are working in Patna, Bhagalpur and Muzaffarpur Forensic Science Laboratory and to further not fix three years experience for general M.Sc. candidates like Forensic Science M.Sc. Degree holder candidates."

2. At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioners submits that with the efflux of time, the present writ petition has been rendered infructuous, hence the same may be disposed off,

3. Accordingly, the present writ petition stands disposed off.
