The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with G.B. Nagar P.S. Case No. 294 of 2018 registered under Sections 341, 323, 324, 307 and 504/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of the Arms Act.

The accusation is that Mintu Kumar Singh, son of informant, and Surendra Prasad (Ex-Mukhiya) went to fair, where Ravi Ranjan Kumar (petitioner), Anish Kumar and five unknown reached and started to abuse to Mintu Kumar and Satendra Prasad. When protest was made then they threw hot oil from sweet shop in which Mintu Kumar Singh sustained burn

It is further alleged that two months before the petitioner had demanded Rs.50,000/-, as ransom, from Surendra Prasad and the occurrence took place due to Panchayat election dispute in between the petitioner and Surendra Prasad. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that it would appear from the F.I.R. that informant is not the eye witness of the occurrence. It is further submitted that while the allegation has been made against the petitioner throwing hot oil at the leg of the son of the informant but the injury as found is of simple in nature. Further submission is that due to election dispute the present case has been lodged with false allegation and petitioner has no criminal antecedent.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, let the above named petitioner be released on bail, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the learned Court below within a period of six weeks from today, on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Siwan, in connection with G.B. Nagar P.S. Case No. 294 of 2018, subject to the condition as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Cr.P.C.
