Petitioner seeks bail in Special Case No. 19 of 2016 (arising out of Khagaria P.S. Case No. 701 of 2016), registered from the offence under Section 8/20(b)(ii)(B) of NDPS Act. Earlier, vide order dated 07-09-2020, a report was called for from the learned court below regarding stage of the trial, which has been received and kept at flag 'Z'. From perusal of report dated 14-09-2020 of learned Addl. Sessions Judge - IV, Khagaria, it appears that all the witnesses have already been examined and the case is fixed for hearing.

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. The bail application stands rejected with direction to learned court below to conclude the trial as early as possible.
