The case is registered under sections 147, 148, 149, 341, 323, 307, 384, 387, 427, 504, 506 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of the Arms Act, in connection with Agamkuan P.S. Case No. 178 of 2022.

As per the FIR, the informant has alleged that on his construction side, the accused persons came and demanded 'Rangdari' and upon protest, he was assaulted. Although they fled away, the petitioner herein was one of the accused person who was apprehended.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he

Considering the kind of allegation that has been made against the petitioner as also the fact that he has criminal antecedent, this Court for the present is not inclined to grant him the privilege of bail which is accordingly rejected. (Rajiv Roy, J) Ravi/- U T
