2. Petitioner apprehends arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 22(1), 23(1), 23(3), 25 of the Pre-Conception and Pre-Natal Diagnostic Techniques (Prohibition of Sex Selection) Act.

3. As per the prosecution case, during verification of registered and unregistered, legal and illegal ultrasound centres which were running in Buxar, it was detected that Raj Ultrasound, Chousa was being operated without registration. Petitioner is proprietor of the ultrasound centre in question.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has got no concern with Raj Ultrasound Centre, Chousa. The alleged room was taken on rent by the petitioner

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.32424 of 2024(4) dt.07-08-2024 2/2 and at present it is closed. Petitioner has not started any business at the alleged premises. Petitioner claims clean antecedent.

5. Learned A.P.P. for the State vehemently opposed the bail application.

6. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this anticipatory bail is allowed and it is ordered that let the above named petitioner in the event of his arrest/surrender before the court below within a period of six weeks from today, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail-bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Chief Judicial Magistrate, Buxar in connection with Buxar Complaint Case No. 86(0) of 2023, subject to condition as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
