JUSTICE VINOD KUMAR SINHA ORAL ORDER 23-05-2019 Petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Jamui P.S. Case No.449 of 2017 registered for the offence punishable under Section 302 of the Indian Penal Code.

Allegation as per F.I.R. against the petitioner is that he set on fire the daughter of the informant.

Submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner is that the informant is not an eye witness in this case. Petitioner has no criminal antecedent and he is in custody since 13.12.2018.

Further submission is that the informant has lodged this case on the basis of statement of his grandson (Nati), who has said that petitioner has killed his sister Anita Devi and he appears to be an eye witness.
