The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 279, 337 and 338 of the IPC and Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

It is a case of recovery of about 9.750 liters of illicit liquor from the Piago Auto bearing Registration No.BR-01AP4757, belonging to the petitioner. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner has falsely been implicated in this case. Petitioner has got clean antecedent.

Learned APP appearing for the State has opposed the prayer for anticipatory bail.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.36535 of 2021(3) dt.05-04-2022 2/2 From perusal of the impugned order, it appears that the said liquor has been recovered from the vehicle, belonging to the petitioner, as such, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

Prayer for anticipatory bail is rejected.
