The petitioner is in custody in connection with Manjhagarh P.S. Case No. 272 of 2017 registered under Sections 379, 328, 396, 412, 413, 120B IPC.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has no criminal antecedent. The name of the petitioner surfaced on the basis of confessional statement. The FIR was lodged against unknown. The petitioner is in custody since 5.5.2020.

Considering the fact that the petitioner has no criminal antecedent and he has not been named in the FIR, the Court is inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Let the petitioner, above named, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.23421 of 2020(3) dt.04-01-2021 2/2 25,000/-(Twenty Five Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Gopalganj in connection with Manjhagarh P.S. Case No. 272 of 2017.
