2. The petitioner is apprehending arrest in connection with Nawada Town P.S. Case No.1506/2024 registered on 26.12.2024 for the offences punishable under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise (Amendment) Act, 2022.
3. As per the prosecution, the total recovery in the present case pertains to 3 liters of Indian Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL).
4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has committed no offence. It is submitted that the petitioner is not named in the F.I.R., but has been made an accused solely on suspicion, based on the
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.30384 of 2025(2) dt.15-05-2025 2/2 confessional statement of a co-accused, allegedly due to previous enmity. It is further submitted that although the petitioner is the registered owner of the motorcycle from which the alleged recovery was made, there is no other material to connect him with the offence. The petitioner is stated to have a clean criminal antecedent.
5. Learned counsel for the State opposes the prayer for bail but submits that the antecedent of the petitioner is clean.

In the facts and circumstances, let the above named petitioner be released on bail, in the event of arrest or surrender before the Trial Court within a period of four weeks from today, on furnishing bail bond of ₹30000/- (thirty thousand) as mentioned in Section 2(1) (d) of the Bharatiya Nagrik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 to the satisfaction of the Exclusive Special Excise Court-1, Nawada, in connection with Nawada Town P.S. Case No. 1506 of 2024, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 482(2) of the Bharatiya Nagrik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023. (Dr. Anshuman, J) Ashwini/- U T
