This application is for grant of regular bail in connection with Chandradeep P.S.Case No.96 of 2016/G.R.No.1919 of 2016 for the offences under Sections 302, 307, 120(B)/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of the Arms Act..

Earlier the prayer for bail of the petitioner was rejected by a Co-ordinate Bench of this Court vide order dated 13.2.2018 passed in Cr. Misc. No.724 of 2018 and the petitioner after firing on the deceased was apprehended by the local personnel there.

Submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner is that he has been arrested only in confusion and there are no other materials against him . He is in custody since

Heard learned A.P.P. also.

Having heard both sides and in view of the facts and circumstances, as stated above, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner e, however, as it is submitted that the petitioner is in custody since the year, 2016 and no substantial progress has been made in the trial , the learned trial court is directed to expedite the trial.

With the aforesaid observation, this application is dismissed.
