Mr. Umesh Lal Verma ====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE SATYAVRAT VERMA ORAL ORDER 13-09-2022 Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned APP for the State.

The petitioners seek bail in anticipation of their arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Section 304-B/ 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

The learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners are persons with clean antecedent and alleges that his daughter was married to Sanjeet Kumar on 12.05.2021. Further, the victim was being tortured right from the beginning for bringing less dowry and gold chain. It is next alleged that accused were demanding Rs.1,80,000/-, motorcycle and

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.26920 of 2022(2) dt.13-09-2022 2/3 jewellery. Further alleges that informant was informed that the victim was being treated in hospital on 28.10.2021. On next day, he was informed that his daughter died.

The learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners have been falsely implicated in the present case. It is next submitted that petitioner no.1 is married sister-in-law, petitioner no.2 is mother-in-law and petitioner no.3 is sister-inlaw. It is next submitted that from perusal of the allegation as alleged in the F.I.R., it would manifest that the allegations are general and omnibus in nature as far as these petitioners are concerned. It is next submitted that husband of the deceased is in jail.

The learned Additional Public Prosecutor opposes the anticipatory bail application.

Considering the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioners, the petitioners, above-named, in the event of their arrest or surrender before the learned Court below within a period of six weeks from today, are directed to be released on bail on their furnishing bail-bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court below where the case is pending in connection with Shahpur P. S. Case

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.26920 of 2022(2) dt.13-09-2022 3/3 No.319 of 2021, subject to the conditions laid down under Section 438(2) of the Cr.P.C.

The application stands allowed.
