Writ application is required to be dismissed on the sole ground that a selection already made in the year 2000 for which the petitioner was an applicant and was not appointed in terms of the show-cause, contained in Annexure-7, cannot be examined after more than a decade of the cause of action having arisen.

If the petitioner was serious about his right as well as for appointment on the post, he would have surely approached the Court well within time. No relief
