Petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Civil Lines P.S. Case No. 17 of 2018 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 379, 504, 323, 353 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code.
Allegation against the petitioner is that he assaulted the informant, who is District Programme Officer, by paperweight and lock and also taken out some papers from him. Submission of learned counsel for the petitioner is that petitioner is a Junior Engineer and one of the Junior Engineers had lodged a case against the informant and due to that being Secretary of the Junior Engineers Association petitioner has falsely been implicated in this case.

Having heard both sides and in the facts and circumstances, let the petitioner, above named, surrender within a period of four weeks from the receipt of this order and on his so surrendering he shall be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees twenty five thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Gaya, in connection with Civil Lines P.S. Case No. 17 of 2018, subject to the conditions under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure and further condition that one of the bailors shall be a local person having sufficient immoveable properties within the jurisdiction of court concerned.
