JUSTICE ANIL KUMAR UPADHYAY ORAL ORDER 23-04-2019 The petitioner is aggrieved by the inaction on the part of the respondents in the matter of grant of arms licence. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits the arms licence was in the name the father of the petitioner and after death of his father on 17.10.2008 Gun was deposited with the Bharat Shastragar by the petitioner and thereafter he filed an application for grant of arms licence in his name on 21.5.2014. The matter is pending for the last nearly 5 years. Considering the aforesaid, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the District Magistrate, Rohtas to take appropriate decision with regard to grant of arms licence in the name of the petitioner accordance with the existing 2016 Rules

Patna High Court CWJC No.8917 of 2019(2) dt.23-04-2019 2/2 at the earliest preferably within a period of 60 days from the date of completion of the general election.
